Definitey it works in Asian Countries if the phone is unlocked and if the network supports GSM. If you want unlocked iPhones, you can mail me or talk with me on Yahoo!

Yes you can but you have to openline your phone first if you want to use a iphone.dont worry i know this stuff because im i live in asia.goodluck!

Yes it will work ONLY on the GSM. Not with the 3G...different frequencies.

Indonesia and Islam

I have always wondered since Indonesia has the highest population of Muslims, if the government in Indonesia worked together with the Indonesian government to allow Muslims to get a special type of school or something. If the muslim church and the Indonesian government work together, what do they work together about? the best answer will receive 5 Stars :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D Thanks ;-)

Yes, Indonesia has the most Moslem population in the world but it is not an Islamic country (it does not impose Islamic law). Moslems go to the mosque, Christians go to church. There are many types of schools in Indonesia: Public, Private (including Catholic schools, Islamic schools/Madrasah etc). The Ulemas (Moslem Scholars) as well as other high rank officials of other religions (Budhism, Hinduism, Catholic, Protestant) and the government work together in many different sectors in Indonesia, such as Education, Public Welfare, Tourism etc. Hope it helps.

Getting a working visa in Indonesia
Getting a working visa in Indonesia?
I have a family company in Indonesia that requires my services over there. I can also work as a consultant basis if it comes to it on the forms. What steps do I need to take to apply for a working visa. I'm Canadian.

Do people in Indonesia pay taxes
Do people in Indonesia pay taxes?
I am a loan officer and I need to verify income. I have a client who works in Indonesia. He says that he gets paid cash and that the country doesn't have an income tax system or W2s like the US does. Any experience with this?

They sure do, and pretty heavy ones at that. Here's a link that might give you some insight: http://www.expat.or.id/info/individualincometaxes.html The exchange rate is about US$ 1 = IDR 9,300.00 or about UK£ 1 = IDR 17,300 There are also Social Security taxes of around 10% and VAT at 10%.

I live in Indonesia and as I know we have tax system but the government doesn't cut the tax automatically from peoples salary. people need to report they income and get NPWP (ticket to pay tax). Our government do aggressive sosialization about this on the television.
