Question about getting Singapore PR

Question about getting Singapore PR
I'm an Indonesian, and still working in Indonesia. I'm planning to look for a job in Singapore. I have read that I can apply for an LPR before I can find a job, but it's rather expensive. I was wondering if there is any other way I can have a Singapore PR without having to apply for an LPR first? Would it be possible if I apply for a job from here and if I get the job would the company help me with the PR? And how much would that cost? Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot.

Not sure what is an LPR, but youdon't have to be a PR to find a job in Singapore. if a company in singapore hires you, they will help you to obtain an employment pass or a work permit.

You do not need to apply for Landed Permanent Residency to apply for a Singapore job. You can apply from Indonesia via Singapore online job portals such as www.singaporejobsonline.com or www.jobstreet.com.sg. or by searching for Singapore employment agencies and getting their services for a fee. If you apply from Indonesia and you get hired, the Singaporean company that hires you will process an Employment Pass (EP) for you so that you can go to Singapore and start working. You can apply for PR after a minimum of 6 months of working in Singapore. The other popular option is to apply for Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate first. It's excellent. You need to hook with the right company, depending on your educational background, and your work experience, and the trade that you specialize in. There are opportunities in sales, marketing, advertising, and even administration. People are always looking for work and most of the time finding it. You may have to struggle initially to get a job because being away from the place take away this edge. However it is very possible. Average wages are around Dh. 12,000 a month, which equates to around US$ 3500.00 a month. Some companies even offer an allowance for housing. Each company has to provide one month's paid leave, with tickets for going home during vacation. If you bring your family with you, then even they are entitled to the same. There is a decent Government sponsored health insurance programs, as well as private. It's your choice. The best part about working over here is that you don't have to pay any income taxes. Good luck.

If you are working in Singapore under EP ( Employment Pass ) and S-PASS , after six months of working , you are eligibility to apply for PR ( Permanent Residence ) . check from www.ica.gov.sg for PR matter. Check from www.mom.gov.sg about EP/S-PASS Qualifications . you can also become Investor PR. with out any Educational / Skill but just Money. invest around USD 3M to Singapore Economic Development Board. www.sedb.com.

You have to live in Singapore to be a PR. You also must work in Singapore. Or you can also be filthy rich and donate to the government. From Singapore's Immigration authority: The following categories of foreigners are eligible to submit applications: * Spouse and unmarried children (below 21 years old) of a Singapore Citizen (SC)/Permanent Resident (SPR) * Aged parents of a Singapore Citizen * P, Q or S work pass holders * Investors/Entrepreneurs Foreigners residing outside Singapore who are interested to study, work and live in Singapore may apply for in-principle approval for permanent residence by submitting an application through SMC Management Consultants Pte Ltd in Singapore provided they satisfy certain guidelines.

Marry a Singaporean and work here for at least five years. If you're as famous as Gong Li, you can become a citizen or a PR anytime.

After you join the military it will be easier to get into the FBI, NRO or CIA

Military intelligence would work or military special operations such as SEALs, DELTA, MARSOC etc then try for CIA, if your interested in CIA stuff look into ISA (intelligence support Agency) they usually work with DELTA guys doing counter terror ops, dangerous stuff.
