If you want to be an actress in Hollywood, I don't see why you'd want to move to New York. They're on entirely opposite sides of the country.It's almost impossible to be any farther from Hollywood than New York, and still live be near the mainland of the United States. Also, can you act? And the cost of living in New York is incredibly high, so as faras how much it costs to live there, the answer is a lot.

Wow. If she still has a vaid Driver's License, I don't see much of a problem.... If, by not having a Valid Visa, she doesn't have a Valid Employee Authorization Card, therefor, she doesn't have a valid Driver's License (meaning she's not "legal"), then I don't think you'll be able to get legally married here. What I did was google "marriage requirements florida" and "getting married in florida", and they didn't require more than valid ID's.... Really simple. BUT, you'd have to check what are the requirement for YOUR state, cause each state has different ones (some even require blood tests, thank God Fl didn't!) OR... You could Petition for her as a Sponsor, that way she get's a Temporary EA card, so you can marry her, then get started on her new Visa. If you are a US citizen you do not need to do anything in advance. When you get to the international airport in Indonesia after you get off of the plane you will go thru customs. There you will pay for your visa. It costs $25 USD for a 30 day visa. If you plan to stay longer than that then you should apply to the Indonesian Consulate for a visa in advance and provide the letter, etc. Make sure your passport is valid for at least a year from the date you travel. The government advises 6 months, but better safe than sorry. It's better not to raise suspicion of your intent while you are there!

I live in France and many of my friends who bought iphones from the USA to bring back to use here have met problems activating it. First of all they couldn't unlock it and then the plan didn't suit as they had to match a special iphone plans. Am not sure if you would risk spending so much money for it. The iphone would work with a simple plan and you will still be able to go online for free if you catch hot spots but I doubt that you have lots of wifi even in Indonesian city center so maybe the iphone would be a waste to use in Indonesia when you can't use it to its maximum services

Since you dont have AT&T you'll need it to be unlocked and then when you receive it you'll need to enter the setttings for what ever service that you do have. Once its unlocked you'll be out of warranty so be sure you know what your doing. IT's a quad band world and will work everywhere but it will then be subject to your carriers services such as data and speed.

I'm in the US, and I only know one man who married an Asian woman. One is a guy who used to work with my husband. He married a Thai woman around a decade ago. She got her citizenship, divorced him, moved to the west coast and filed a restraining order against him. I do know a guy who used to date a Japanese woman. He couldn't keep up with her. He's a laid back, hippie kind of guy who volunteers at our local food co-op, and she is, as he put it, a piranha in high heels. She's a very shrewd and aggressive business woman who is focused on her career, while he's more interested in spending time with his kids. They had great chemistry, but were too incompatible to make it work. Perhaps the problem is with Australian men, not the women.

Dude, I'm from Pensacola, FL and the population of Filipino people there is incredible. I grew up there, so it wasn't ever anything I really noticed. My neighborhood is half Filipino. There are 3 Navy bases in Pensacola, and during WWII the Philipines became an ally of the states, and many Filipino people gained citizenship and joined the Navy in the 60's. Anyway, there are a large majority of older white military retirees with asian wives in Pensacola. Many met them when they were stationed overseas, a lot may have met them here. It's impossible really to ever answer a question dealing with a large group of people and why they do something. I'm white, and I've dated one Asian girl in my whole life, and that was for 2 weeks. Actually none of my friends has an Asian wife or girlfriend, and some of my friends are Filipino. 2 of my best friends from back home are mixed because their dad met an Asian when he was in the Philippines in the 70's. Neither of those guys date Asian girls, just white girls. It all comes down mostly to what people want or what they're attracted to. Some white guys might really like an Asian girl for good reasons, some will like them for the wrong reasons, and vice versa. It don't make no sense wasting your time thinking about why some guy married some girl, unless you're in love with that girl, in which case that sucks bro.

To answer your question -- yes, on the West coast of the U.S., and some of the more cosmopolitan East and Southern cities, the Asian female/White male couple is pretty common. The ethnic mix includes what you mention (Southeast Asian) and also the Northern Asians like Chinese, Korean, and Japanese -- The West Coast has a lot of immigrants from those countries. It really isn't necessarily about race or feminism, much as this topic seems to be the big venting topic here. Yes, there are fetishists who marry eachother (white men who chase Asian women, and Asian women who chase white men), but it is also about social class and cultural assimilation. We have significant numbers of American-born Asians who grew up in predominantly White neighborhoods, went to school with White kids, watched American television programs, listened to American music, and for all intents and purposes are "bananas" (yellow on the outside, white on the inside). This is no different than any other immigration story in the U.S. -- Immigrants come here, their children assimilate, and 3 generations later, they are as American as apple pie. It happened to Italians, Irish, English, etc., and yes, Asians too. The other part is that people are going to try to marry within or above their social class. Asian cultures place a big emphasis on education, and the kind of white neighborhoods they move into in bigger cities in the U.S. also tend to mirror those values (as opposed to moving into a trailer park in West Virginia, where education is probably not top of the list). This means a lot of cultural compatibility even in the case where the woman or her parents are from Asia, and a higher likelihood that those two people can share a life together. They will have the same goals, the same respect for education, and the same high work ethic.

If your pocket PC has build in GPS, so you don't need GPS tuner, just software and maps. Based on my experiences, the maps itself is separated with the software. it doesn't matter if you are using pocket PC+GPS tuner or you are using GPS hand held (such as Garmin V or ex-Trex Vista CX) , the important thing is you have the map. Maybe you can try to contact PT. Kesuma and PT. Freeindo. Both of the company listed in yellow pages of business Jakarta. Event they have websites. You can ask them to find better solution. Those 2 companies is register as Garmin-GPS distributor. You should ensure first its compatibility if you are using pocket PC with the map and the software. It is quite expensive for the map

However, inside your office and cubicle you may do whatever pleases you, out of view of your colleagues! You may be aware that Chewing Gums were banned item for importation in Singapore for many years. I am not sure if they have relaxed or lifted the ban. Even if the immigration, customs and airport officials would find you carrying chewing gums then those would be confiscated. So, in a way only country that put ban on chewing gum is Singapore and I personally support this ban for the reasons stated by the government of Singapore back in 1990s. Btw, in Bangladesh you can chew the gums in public and people would think of you as a ‘snob’ if you try to do the same in workplace, since it would be tantamount of imitating the Americans!

It's usually work that is not core to the business, such as processing, IT operations, or something of that nature. The main reason is so that the company can focus on the true business. It works well for some companies that offshore a bunch of administrative functions. But for other companies it is a bad idea. There are a lot of mixed opinions about outsourcing and offshoring. Its two totally different concepts. And most of the rednecks I know, don't want either to happen. Outsourcing: I have no problem with outsourcing, it is a logical reaction to overpriced labor here. If you're fluent and good at presenting and teaching the material, I don't see why not. You don't have to be a native speaker of the language to successfully teach it - I am a native speaker of English and taught the language successfully, but I have been a student in a class with a native Italian teacher supposedly teaching us Italian and he wasn't very good. He didn't know who to present the material, to get us to practise it, to teach us new things.

Do you have a degree? Do you want to teach "English as a second language" or what? Having an excellent grasp of the English language helps you communicate but does not mean you can teach it. Even being from God's own country (Australia) won't help. Get the piece of paper than use that.

As it is far away and not the most organised system it depends where the cards are mailed. If you mail it in a major city (Bali, Jakarta) it can get there in 1 week. If you mail it in a small town you are looking at beating the cards home by a long shot. I think its better to save it till you get home and give them a gift!
