I am from the UK and am at medical school. Can I work as a doctor in Indonesia?
If so how and when? After FY2? Is it possible to study in Indonesia as part of my training (apart from elective)?

You need to communicate with employment agent in Indonesia, I have some email addresses, but not handy for the time being. I am sure you may web search, use Manpower suppliers from Indonesia, employment agents in Indonesia ,,,etc. you will get thousands. You have to clearly specify your requirements, make interview / trade test of the candidate prior to mobilization, agree on the agent fees and get the candidate signature on your employment terms prior to mobilization. Indonesian workforce normally good, but avoid many of them, control the drinking habits, keep monitoring the hygiene, show you are the boss all the time and always remind him your standing instructions and his duties. In the other hand you have to show appreciation for the good work also recognition and reward. They cannot work independent, the have to be closely supervised. By the way, I have employed a lot of Indonesian ships crew including cooks. You may call me latter on "profiss_bogy@yahoo.com" to furnish you with reliable agents.

Does Indonesia send a gymnastic team to the Olympics?
My daughter has been training in gymnastics since she was a toddler. She is eight now and has done well in the competitions she has been in. My husband is moving to Indonesia for work, and may be there for ten years. We are planning on moving with him, but can't seem to find any information anywhere about gymnastics in Indonesia. Do you know if they send a team or participate in the Olympics? How can we continue my daughter's training there? Also if she gets training in a foreign country will that hurt her eligibility in meets?

Your daughter will compete for the country of her citizenship, regardless of where she lives or trains. There are elite gymnastic training sites in Indonesia. Teams and individuals must have a world ranking to enter the Olympics, everyone can not enter. Training in a foreign country is not unusual for elite athletes in all sports.

I believe that Indonesia does have a gymnastics team. But, she will not be able to compete for them unless she is a citizen. So if she remains a US citizen, she will be competing for the US in the Olympics, but for her gym at smaller meets. You can continue training by finding a gym that will take her on. Training in a foreign country will NOT effect her eligibility, but it may make it a bit more confusing for you. She will still be able to compete in any meets in Indonesia, and a few international ones in the USA. Good Luck!
