Does anyone have an good recipe for Pisang Goreng

Does anyone have an good recipe for Pisang Goreng?
When I was in Indonesia I worked with a group of Indonesians who had it everyday. Now I'm hooked. I can get wild bananas here, but when I tried it the batter comes out too greasy. Any suggestions? Also I used wheat flour and rice flour. I can get cassava flour if I need to as well. Thanks.

Nangka Pisang Goreng Regular Pisang Goreng (Fried Banana) batter is using one or mixing two of these flour: corn flour, glutinous rice flour, rice flour, plain flour with egg, water, salt & sugar. yummy. for my version i added fresh jackfruit puree and cinnamon for extra flavour. you can mix and match the flour you want or whatever's available. if using two kinds of flour, make it 1:1. and of course, you can use saba or other banana variety if there's no available foot long pisang. though best if you can find one as it really makes a difference in taste. and the banana turns deep sunset orange yellow once fried. sweet! by PurpleChef 6-8 servings 1 hour 30 min prep Change to: servings US Metric 1 pisang foot-long banana 1/2 cup glutinous-rice flour 1/2 cup plain flour 200 g fresh jackfruit 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 large egg water 1 dash salt 1 tablespoon brown sugar canola oil (for deep frying) 1.) Put the fresh jackfruit with little water and dash of cinnamon in a blender. 2.) Puree smoothly. 3.) Mix the jackfruit puree with flour, bit of water, egg, salt & brown sugar to make a pasty batter. 4.) slice the banana into bite size pieces. 5.) Dip and cover the banana slices with batter. 6.) Deep fry in canola oil until golden brown. 7.) Use absorbent napkins to remove excess oil. Serve warm.

not all type banana is good for pisang goreng,, the best type of banana for pisang goreng are pisang kepok and pisang raja,, but i dont know if its avaiable in your place,, my mom usually use wheat flour and mix it with some rice flour,,

To make the batter you need: 100g rice flour 30g plain flour 1 level tablespoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional) 150ml water Combine rice and plain flours, sugar, salt and sesame seeds. Stir in water to make smooth batter. Heat oil (it should be 4cm deep) on medium heat and fry bananas dipped in the batter. Fry a few pieces at a time until golden brown and then turn them over to brown the other side. Drain them on absorbent towels, serve warm. If you find the batter too thin after you have fried a few pieces, just add a little more flour and adjust to your liking. Your batter gets greasy if your heat is not at the correct temperature so make sure it sizzles when you put in the bananas. Cooking them on low heat will cause the batter to absorb the oil more. If you are frying alot, would suggest you top up the oil. Experiment with different varieties of banana till you find the one most suitable for frying.

Iphone 3g Will work in other country after unlocked or jailbroken

Iphone 3g Will work in other country after unlocked or jailbroken?
I'd like to buy apple iphone 3g. the only question that my brother in Indonesia said ," If I unlocked and bring it to Indonesia, the iphone won't work" is it true? What is jailbroken? Is jailbroken only for iphone? can my balckberry get jailbroken?] Thanks

jailbreaking means you have 'unlocked' the phone WITHOUT the 'unlock code' so any sim card can go in it. Right now, the almighty evil Apple empire has locked the phone with ATT. Even though it has only ATT service, ATT has no unlock codes for Iphones. Apple wont disclose them to us, even though this was supposed to be a 50-50 relationship. Damn apple! The reason why people 'jailbreak" iphones and 'unlock' blackberries is becuase ATT has unlock codes for BBs, samsungs, lgs, nokia,s motorolla, etc... if our sticker logo is on it.. them we get the code... and the unlock is prefectly legel and ethical!.... But with iphones, there is no att sticker logo... they arent our phones, a common misconception in today's "youth". they belong 100% to the Evil Apple Empire, which wont even disclose the unlock code to their loyal Mac Fans! LOL therefore, to "top the man", you dont/CANT unlock iphones... you must JAIL - BREAK IT! But, in the long run, jailbreaking is the unethical portion of an ethical unlocking. LOL And for Indonesia... be very careful taking an Iphone out of the US, Japan, Western Europe... high data rates apply.... If its jailbroken, then put a Indonesian SIM card in it and you'll be fine---that is ONLY if Indonesia has 2G/3G/3.5G towers Good luck!

How about Lombok, it's close enough to Bali, and job market there is still pretty nascent. Bandung is another city that's very popular with those who can't stand Jakarta's hustling scenes. Bintan will also be a good choice for its scenery and relaxed atmosphere.

Your charger is bad. It would be nice if you had a voltage meter so you could check it, to be sure.
