I have lived in Jakarta but dislike the traffic jams. I like to scuba dive so I like lots of islands and beautiful scenery like I imagine Bali offers. But I can't find work in Bali. In other beautiful cities in Indonesia?

How about Lombok, it's close enough to Bali, and job market there is still pretty nascent. Bandung is another city that's very popular with those who can't stand Jakarta's hustling scenes. Bintan will also be a good choice for its scenery and relaxed atmosphere.
