hai right now i am working in batam(indonesia).i have workpermit in indonesia.my native place is hyderabad(india).from batam to hyderabd jounery around 14 hours so to avoid this i want to go to singapore by ferry in singapore in singapore i will catch the flight.so for this where can i get the transit visa can i get the transit visa in singapore ferry or not please suggest me

I don't think you are able to get a transit visa on arrival in Singapore but I think you are in luck Singapore has just opened a consulate in Batam in August so you can try this address and you are able to apply your visa there 8th Floor Sumatera Convention Centre Jalan Engku Putri, Kav. 01, Batam Centre Batam, Indonesia Tel - 001-62-(778) 470070, 001-62-(778) 470071 The Consulate will open daily from Monday to Friday between 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, and 1.30 pm to 5.00 pm. Indonesia i arrive there at 1:10 pm.I have a connection in LosAngelas airport the wait in between planes is 3 hours the same in Taipei Taiwan.I'm new to flying,how does the connection to other planes work.

After you land in LA, there will be a board displaying the gate to go to for your connection. If you have any questions, airport agents would be happy to help you.

How is Obama Elitist
How is Obama Elitist?
he grew up in one of the poorest countries, Indonesia. He worked, as a community organizer, in one of the poorest communities in Chicago. And he wants to progressively tax those that make more. Is this just a spurious charge made by republicans to scare democrats into not trusting or voting for Obama?

I am doing research for my final essay, the question is "Do the elements of a fictional work plausibly reflect real life experience?". I have chosen a story by Toer, which discusses a marriage between and 8 year old girl and a seventeen year old boy who has paid for the girl. Does anyone know if this does or did happen in Indonesia? I have done several google/yahoo searches but nothing comes up.
