hai right now i am working in batam(indonesia).i have workpermit in indonesia.my native place is hyderabad(india).from batam to hyderabd jounery around 14 hours so to avoid this i want to go to singapore by ferry in singapore in singapore i will catch the flight.so for this where can i get the transit visa can i get the transit visa in singapore ferry or not please suggest me

I don't think you are able to get a transit visa on arrival in Singapore but I think you are in luck Singapore has just opened a consulate in Batam in August so you can try this address and you are able to apply your visa there 8th Floor Sumatera Convention Centre Jalan Engku Putri, Kav. 01, Batam Centre Batam, Indonesia Tel - 001-62-(778) 470070, 001-62-(778) 470071 The Consulate will open daily from Monday to Friday between 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, and 1.30 pm to 5.00 pm.
