Does anyone have an good recipe for Pisang Goreng

Does anyone have an good recipe for Pisang Goreng?
When I was in Indonesia I worked with a group of Indonesians who had it everyday. Now I'm hooked. I can get wild bananas here, but when I tried it the batter comes out too greasy. Any suggestions? Also I used wheat flour and rice flour. I can get cassava flour if I need to as well. Thanks.

Nangka Pisang Goreng Regular Pisang Goreng (Fried Banana) batter is using one or mixing two of these flour: corn flour, glutinous rice flour, rice flour, plain flour with egg, water, salt & sugar. yummy. for my version i added fresh jackfruit puree and cinnamon for extra flavour. you can mix and match the flour you want or whatever's available. if using two kinds of flour, make it 1:1. and of course, you can use saba or other banana variety if there's no available foot long pisang. though best if you can find one as it really makes a difference in taste. and the banana turns deep sunset orange yellow once fried. sweet! by PurpleChef 6-8 servings 1 hour 30 min prep Change to: servings US Metric 1 pisang foot-long banana 1/2 cup glutinous-rice flour 1/2 cup plain flour 200 g fresh jackfruit 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 large egg water 1 dash salt 1 tablespoon brown sugar canola oil (for deep frying) 1.) To make the batter you need: 100g rice flour 30g plain flour 1 level tablespoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional) 150ml water Combine rice and plain flours, sugar, salt and sesame seeds. Stir in water to make smooth batter. Heat oil (it should be 4cm deep) on medium heat and fry bananas dipped in the batter. Fry a few pieces at a time until golden brown and then turn them over to brown the other side. Drain them on absorbent towels, serve warm. If you find the batter too thin after you have fried a few pieces, just add a little more flour and adjust to your liking. Your batter gets greasy if your heat is not at the correct temperature so make sure it sizzles when you put in the bananas. Cooking them on low heat will cause the batter to absorb the oil more. If you are frying alot, would suggest you top up the oil. Experiment with different varieties of banana till you find the one most suitable for frying.
