Would it be 'safer' to enter Indonesia on an Australian or British passport

Would it be 'safer' to enter Indonesia on an Australian or British passport?
I am a dual citizen hoping to live and work in Indonesia in the future, and wonder if it would be deemed safer to be a citizen of either of the countries. Thanks! :) Plan to teach, hopefully in an international school :) Thanks very much to all who have answered.

yes, you are. lots of expatriate live and works here. and i believe everything is a lot better than years ago. indonesian won't hate you because of your nationalities. it's a safe place to work and live. you gonna love it. i'm indonesian but now work and live in united states, but i do love my country, for better or worse. one more thing, don't trust everything you see on tv,sometimes is just one-side story.

Australia has a history of problems with Indonesia, whereas Britain not so much. You'd probably be safe on either - depending on what you intend to do and where you plan to go while here. You never did state what your plans in Indonesia are.

I think it won't be necessary to think about your nationality when you go to Indonesia. As I am a balinese and live in Bali, we have never been in a problem with foreigners, and I also see a lot foreigners live and work here.

British or Australian passport both are safe but i think British passport will be 'safer' than Australian passport coz some of 'problems' that we had/have wit Australia government.
