No, it is the work of physical stucture, temperature of the earth, shifting plates in the earth surface. These things can happen just as an ice cube cracks in a glass of water. It is how you perceive and see it, that is where God comes in. You can see it as a time to be grateful for your life, or a time to be sad that people are killed, or a time to ask how life is so precious to you. God lives in your mind, and wherever you look, God is there. The natural acts are part of us, just the same as developing hair on your body , and leaves falling from a tree. It is only how we deal with these things that have to do with god. People ask. "how can god be so cruel?" It is not God being cruel, if we see it as a terrible thing- 2000 people dying, then that is very sad. But it is not cruel, it is just nature. The pplanet needs to grow too, just like we do. Do you think the parasites that live on our skin ask how you can beb so crule when you scratch yourself? God can be friendly, or unkind, and we lose everything when we see him as unkind.

No, its plainly Geological. Indonesia is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, which is hazardous to earthquake and volcanic eruption. Explain what you mean by 'doing weird thing over there' and how's that relevant to the disasters that constantly occurring in our country? I myself is a man who believes in religion, but the sequence of disasters that recently happened in our country is Geological and can not be merely justified as a work of God. Any pure religious views to such phenomenon lacks reasoning and are nothing more than superstition.
